Library Services

Need a library card?   

Print our online application form and bring it in to pick up your card, or come in person.

Photo ID and proof of current address necessary.

These could be a MN driver's license, MN State ID; employer's ID, mail that shows your present address (water bill etc).

Library cards are free. Replacement for lost cards is  $3.00.

    Wireless Connection available for Laptops
  • Wireless printer available.
  • Cricut - Feel free to come in and use the Cricut and cartridges.  We have cartridges & paper available.

  • Double sided - $.35
  • Fax - $1 per page

Loan Periods

Three weeks for most materials except:
DVDs - one week

Renewals

Most Library material may be renewed. Renewals may be done in person, by phone or through our Online Catalog. If another patron has requested the title, you may not renew the item. You will not be able to renew material if you have more than a $5.00 fine from another Plum Creek library on your card. Material borrowed from other libraries in the Plum Creek Library System may be renewed with the same guidelines.

Fines

  • Fines for books are $.25 per day.
  • Fines for DVDs are $1 a day.

 

Hot Spots

  • Hot spot may be checked out for 2 weeks. 
  • In order for more patrons to be able to use hotspots, each household may check out one hotspot device once a month.
  • Device must be returned inside the library - not in book drop or to a different library. 
  • Fines will begin 1 day overdue at $5 per day.
  • Device will be turned off when 1 day overdue.
  • Hotspots will be checked out to adults only with Slayton Library cards.
