Award Winning Minnesota Author, Pamela Nowak
will discuss her latest book “Necessary Deceptions”
Tuesday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m.
Murray County Fairgrounds 4-H Building
 

Nowak will discuss the buried history of Wyatt Earp and his second and third wives: Josephine Marcus and Celia/Mattie Blaylock. She will present the conflicting stories crafted by Josie Earp, how deception ruled both Josie’s and Mattie’s lives, and how difficult it was to research them and craft sympathetic characters from these two troubled women.

The Slayton Public Library challenges you to read 12 books this calendar year based on the themes chosen each month. Each time you complete the monthly reading, your name will be put in the drawing for a prize. Anyone that completes all 12 books will be eligible for a grand prize drawing. Check at the front desk for the Reading Challenge list and choose your book today –
