The audio is for the open portion of the meeting. Following the closed session the following motion was made: 

Councilman Heronimus moved and Jacobson seconded the motion to authorize the City's Attorney and City Staff to author and send the offer to purchase assets from Xcel Energy as discussed in closed session. Motion Carried. 

The meeting was adjourned following this motion. 

Following the closed session, Mayor Carney opened the meeting to the public at 9:00 PM. 

Councilman Jacobson moved and Harmsen seconded the motion to authorize the City's legal counsel to draft a response to Xcel's correspondence dated July 22, 2024 as discussed in closed session. Motion Carried. 

The meeting was then adjourned. 

Following the conclusion of the closed session the City Council went back into open session. No action was taken and the meeting was adjourned.
