Computer Lab

The Slayton library houses a 8 station computer lab. Open for public use whenever the library is open, it is also available for group use when the library is closed. With prior arrangements, it may be reserved for private use during the day by groups. The lab has a large screen, as well as a podium for presentation and instruction.

• Computer use is limited to 1 hour once a day.  Call 836-8778 for an appointment. 
• Appointments are required for computer or wifi use and begin at the top of the hour and last for 1 hour.
• If you are using your own device, an appointment is still required.
• Patrons are limited to one computer appointment a day. 

The lab was established in 2001, thanks to a generous grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The computers have since been upgraded, and wireless Internet access installed for use throughout the entire library.
